CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT POLICY
At Eren Perakende ve Tekstil A.Ş., we uphold the values of environmental health and safety, and we place a high value on managing the chemicals used in our operations in accordance with sustainable and safe standards. In this regard, we commit to;
- Cooperatively and proactively comply with national laws and regulations as well as international standards, laws, and brand requirements like reach, OEKO-TEX 100, and ZDHC MRSL / RSL to guarantee the safe use of chemicals,
- Guarantee the well-being and security of our workers, assess the environmental consequences of our chemical management procedures, reduce hazards, and implement optimal practices by assessing environmental prospects while adhering to all national and international environmental regulations and standards,
- Reduce the impact on the environment and chemical management, be open and honest with all parties involved in the supply chain, share our chemical inventory, be transparent about all chemicals supplied, and notify our customers about the chemicals in our products upon request,
- Create and periodically evaluate emergency action plans to safeguard our workers and the environment in terms of training and capacity building, continuously enhance by educating all our staff and offering chemical usage training,
- Adhere to relevant laws and regulations, minimise exposure risks and potential hazards, and act in compliance with national and international regulations in all processes, including purchasing, input control, label control, storage, chemical storage, internal audit, application, and post-application waste disposal,
