OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
Eren Perakende ve Tekstil A.Ş. is committed to the promotion of occupational health and safety as a fundamental value and culture throughout all aspects of our operations. Management, our employees, and all stakeholders are dedicated to increasing awareness and sensitivity regarding occupational health and safety.
In light of this knowledge, to optimise the performance of our occupational health and safety management system and guarantee ongoing development, we agree and undertake to do the following:
- Providing operational protective equipment, conducting continuous improvement efforts, and taking necessary measures to prevent risky situations that could affect the safety and well-being of our employees, such as emergencies and occupational diseases,
- Adhering to all national legislation and other legal obligations regarding occupational health and safety,
- Identifying potential hazards that may be encountered in the workplace by subcontractors, visitors, interns, and all of our employees, implement the requisite measures, and guarantee their safety and social well-being,
- Establishing the requisite communication channels to comprehend the expectations and requirements of our employees with respect to occupational health and safety, and ensuring that employee opinions are considered in the pursuit of continuous improvement,
- Reviewing our performance and implementing continuous improvements by establishing measurable and applicable OHS objectives that are designed to prevent occupational accidents and diseases,
- Organising the necessary training to make a safe working environment and safety awareness a habit among all employees, subcontractors, visitors, and trainees;
- Improving employee competencies, raise awareness, and increase occupational health and safety awareness in all our operating areas as Eren Perakende ve Tekstil A.Ş.,
- Cultivating a culture of occupational health and safety, instilling safe behaviours in all our employees and establishing this awareness as a way of life,
- Continuously enhancing, monitoring, and reviewing our occupational health and safety performance, establishing measurable and achievable targets by fully adhering to our legal obligations and national and international OHS standards,
- Facilitating the growth of our employees and their representatives by guaranteeing their involvement in the occupational health and safety management system,
- Managing "sustainable growth and safety" by identifying and prioritising our OHS risks and opportunities and allocating the requisite resources,
- Developing enduring relationships with local authorities that are both supportive and value-creating,
- Taking proactive and reactive measures, assessing risks, and anticipating hazards, while always remembering that the safety of our colleagues is also in our hands,
- Minimising the environmental and social risks that may arise during our activities, and acting responsibly,
- Prioritising the presence of a health and safety culture in all of our business partners and prefer to collaborate with such partners,
Establishing a safe working environment and adhering to the most stringent occupational health and safety standards in collaboration with all of our stakeholders.
