We regard sustainability as a critical component of our business operations and our future vision, rather than merely an environmental obligation. We are redefining our production processes so that they are in accordance with environmental, social, and governance principles; we are implementing resource efficiency, social benefit, and ethical management together.
We are making investments in the reduction of our carbon footprint, the increase of our use of renewable energy, and the transition to circular production models as part of our efforts to promote environmental sustainability. Our Çorlu and Bitlis facilities are transitioning to green energy as of 2023, with a total of 30,000 solar panels and wind energy projects. Our energy efficiency practices, which are certified by ISO 14064-1 and ISO 50001, facilitate cost savings and mitigate environmental impact.
We employ certified raw materials, including GOTS, RCS, GRS, and FSC, to ensure traceability and transparency in the supply chain. We provide our customers with sustainable and dependable products by following the fibre from its origin to the final product.
Our social sustainability approach is fundamentally rooted in the human element. We prioritise the promotion of female employment, the provision of equal opportunities, and the support of employee welfare. Sustainability Academy has granted us the distinction of being the first retail organisation in Türkiye to possess the "Equal Women at Work" certificate. By offering sustainability training to all our personnel, we foster environmental and social consciousness.
We are committed to promoting equal opportunities in education, conducting social assistance programmes, and offering internship and employment opportunities to young people as part of our social responsibility.
